Todd Fischer Teaser

 If you've been following along on our Twitter feed or Facebook page, you've probably seen that we're working on a video and word feature on Olympic Peninsula surf artist and all-around fantastic human being Todd Fischer. Today, he shared a pic of his latest piece Free Flow. My brother Eli and I were lucky enough to be shooting video and pictures of him while he started the painting. Watching him begin with a blank piece of paper and then sketch out the rough outline and apply the first layers of paint in the span of about an hour was a mind-blowing glimpse into the process of a truly talented artist. You'll get to see that when we post the full-length feature and video. For now, here's Todd's finished painting.  

Hit up his website, Facebook friend him, head to one of his showings, and buy some of his art. He's one of the nicest people I've ever met and creates watercolors that somehow capture the NW in all that it is and all that imagination can make it.  Meeting and getting to interview him was one of the highlights of my life as a writer and I can't wait to share the full feature with you all.
