Surfing, singer-songwriter Mishka will be playing the WOW Hall in Eugene, OR tomorrow October 19 at 8 p.m. (get tickets). Growing up sailing the Caribbean on a boat that his father hand-built for the family infused Mishka's music with a reggae base.

I hit up The Gathering longboard contest on Saturday, September 11, 2010. The waist to shoulder high peelers were breaking under cloud-free blue skies in tee-shirt suitable 65-degree weather.

The Oregon Open Ocean Classic is happening August 28. The OOOC is a 7.5 mile stand-up paddleboard race from Beverly Beach State Park south to Nye Beach in Newport, Oregon.
